Good evening I am currently trying to research my family tree and am getting nowhere fast!! My grandmother used to live on Parys mountain, which I visited regularly as a child and I am now trying to trace her family. I am seeking any information on William Hughes who was born in Amlwch in 1791 or 1795 and was a fisherman/boatman. He moved with his wife Jane (who was much younger than him) to Llanfairfechan. He had a son William who was born in Amlwch in 1843. Whilst I have found him on the census in Llanfairfechan in 1851 I can not find any trace of him or his family in Amlwch.

I am seeking informaion on Thomas Hughes born about 1819 in Amlwch who married Margaret (think she may also have been a Hughes !) and had Ellinor in 1844. I cant find her birth anywhere or in any census's until she is married. Any help would be great. My G Grandmother is Elizabeth Roberts born 1835 in Amlwch who married William Jones (b. Beaumaris 20 Feb 1829). They married at Manchester Cathedral on 3 Apr 1867.

I see that from your church records there is one Elizabeth Roberts born in 1835, but I am trying to take the family further back and I am looking for anyone who knows her parents and there residence at that time.
